City/State Norfolk, VAWork Shift First (Days)Overview: Sentara is hiring a Document Management Associate II for the Release of Information Services Department.This is a full-time day shift position Mon-Fri. Position located in Norfolk, VA. Must reside in Hampton Roads. Position may offer hybrid work schedule after successful completion of orientation at the manager's discretion. Responsible for gathering medical record documentation or attorney requested documentation in a timely, accurate fashion to satisfy requests of revenue cycle team members as part of collection efforts. Able to handle high volume, highly confidential and time sensitive information, while focusing on accuracy. Interacts with clinical departments and external attorneys and requires the ability to demonstrate professionalism and high levels of customer service. Education: *High School Diploma or equivalent (Required) Experience: *Two years of Clerical experience required. *Health Information Management or Medical Records Release of Information (ROI) experience preferred *Epic EMR experience preferred *Data entry skills *Ability to operate basic office equipment in a fast-paced environment. Effective organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Positive attitude, attention to detail, questioning attitude, willingness to collaborate with leadership and other team members to continuously improve processes.
