Job Title: Senior Program Manager - Cybersecurity & IT Infrastructure
Contract length: 6 months

Pay Range: $70-$73 Position Overview:
Our client, a prominent utility services company specializing in natural gas and energy solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee and lead a variety of critical Cybersecurity, IT Compliance, Infrastructure, Networking, and Service Delivery projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple high-budget projects, ensuring their alignment with business goals, and ensuring their completion within forecasted budgets and timelines. As the Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to develop strategies, coordinate activities, manage budgets, and assess project performance. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, a keen eye for detail, and expertise in handling large, complex projects, particularly in the realm of Cybersecurity, IT Compliance, and Infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
Project Organization & Monitoring: Organize and monitor interconnected projects, ensuring that goals are met within established timeframes and budgets.
Strategy & Objectives Development: Develop and implement strategies and objectives for programs, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
Cross-Project Coordination: Coordinate activities across various projects and ensure seamless execution.
Budget & Timeline Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring the allocation of resources is effective, and timelines are adhered to.
Performance Assessment: Continuously evaluate program performance, making adjustments as necessary to enhance efficiency and meet project goals.
Leadership & Team Management: Lead, guide, and evaluate project managers and teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Risk Management & Problem Solving: Proactively address risks and project-related issues, providing solutions and escalating matters when necessary.
Stakeholder Communication: Assist with resourcing and communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Leadership & Organizational Expertise: Strong leadership abilities and organizational skills to manage multiple large-scale projects effectively.
Project/Program Management Experience: Proven experience in project and program management, particularly in complex IT, Cybersecurity, or Infrastructure projects.
Performance Evaluation & Change Management: Strong knowledge of performance evaluation techniques, change management processes, and their application in large programs.
Communication & Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and handle challenging situations with diplomacy.
Project Management Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools and software for planning, tracking, and reporting.
Cybersecurity & IT Compliance Expertise (Preferred): Prior experience in managing Cybersecurity, IT Compliance, or Infrastructure projects. Knowledge of technologies such as Azure, SailPoint, Red Hat Satellite, Hypervisor, Splunk, and M365 is highly desirable.
Risk & Vendor Management: Demonstrated ability to manage project risks, vendor relationships, and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Advanced Degree (Preferred): Master's degree in business, technology, or a related field is preferred.
Certifications (Preferred): PMI or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in project management, with proven success in leading large, complex programs.
