The Senior Technical Program Manager of Sherwin's CCPM (Cookie, Consent, & Preference Management) program is a highly cross-functional role, tasked with leading teams from Marketing, Cybersecurity, and IT in the successful delivery of CCPM capabilities. RESPONSIBILITIES LEAD TEAM IN DESIGNING & IMPLEMENTING DIGITAL PRIVACY SOLUTIONS
- Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, and Cybersecurity teams to gather digital data privacy requirements and create an implementation plan that maintains compliance, while maximizing marketing data impact.
- Collaborate with UX to align cookie banner and relevant consent experiences to brand guidelines & user experience best practices.
- Partner with developers on new banner implementations, following a consistent & repeatable process.
- Liaise with developers to ensure scripts are correctly blocked/allowed based on user consent.
- Document and gather requirements from stakeholders to define requests and better understand digital privacy objectives.
- Build comprehensive deliverable plans in support of large-scale website and mobile app enhancements.
- Optimize data collection strategy that spans tag management, data source considerations, and performance implications to ensure digital data lands in final reporting destination.
ESTABLISH DIGITAL DATA PRIVACY IMPLEMENTATION PROCESSES
- Establish process for quality assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing of new implementations.
- Intake & prioritize adds and removal of cookies from domains in the cookie management tool.
- Maintain documentation that reflects active implementation & roadmap items
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM COMMUNICATION
- Communicate success of the program through publishing audits & providing reports on opt-in/opt-out trends to stakeholders & leadership.
- Partner across the enterprise to ensure roadmaps are aligned and the team is prepared to support cookie & consent related needs on all digital properties.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS FORMAL EDUCATION: Required:
- 4 Year College Degree in Business, IT, Marketing, Digital/Ecomm, Cyber, or related field
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required:
- 7+ Years of experience in digital/eCommerce, analytics, cyber security, product management, or other related experience
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex problems, make sound decisions, and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management.
- The ideal candidate should excel in teamwork, fostering a cooperative and inclusive work environment
- Proven experience in managing and engaging with a diverse set of stakeholders is essential
Preferred:
- Experience managing or collaborating with vendors/agencies or other external partners
- Experience managing marketing/marketing technology projects
- Experience collecting cross-functional requirements & translating them to technical implementation plans.
