Sr. Technical Delivery Manager - Data Center Operations

POSITION PURPOSE

The Sr. Technical Delivery Manager contributes to the overall success of JLL data center operations for the Client account by engaging resources to ensure effective and efficient operation of the data center portfolio. This role leads strategic implementation and ensures operational excellence across the portfolio.

The position delivers advanced technical leadership and program guidance, translating technical requirements into actionable strategies for critical environments. The incumbent influences operational deliverables (client service, operational, field execution) and is responsible for meeting client objectives while effectively managing resources according to JLL and Critical Environments Program Standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute toward the establishment of JLL services and implementation of programs and procedures to achieve performance goals and objectives
  • Analyze portfolio metrics through comprehensive analytics and reporting tools to identify improvement opportunities and ensure optimal portfolio performance
  • Provide input and support to strategic planning initiatives and collaborate with the Account Director to identify portfolio and cost-saving opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on technical matters and operational improvements
  • Support process owners and platform leaders with implementation of training, education, and expectations to ensure teams adhere to all processes and procedures
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with proper closeout and commissioning requirements, including collection and archiving of all necessary critical documents
  • Ensure key stakeholders properly maintain archives of drawings, schematics, equipment operations manuals, warranty documents, and other critical information
  • Verify all properties are operated, maintained, and tested in accordance with local, state, and national requirements, overlaid by Client Corporation Account requirements (critical processes and reporting)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years operational experience in a data center environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing people and customers
  • Strong oral and written communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities; capable of developing alternative approaches
  • Strong analytical ability to assess factors affecting situations, recommend and execute solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills to arrange resources for maximum productivity
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and crisis management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Fundamental knowledge of critical systems (emergency/standby generators, automatic transfer switches, UPS systems, power distribution systems, UPS batteries, etc.)
  • Technical proficiency in Building Management Systems, Life Safety Systems, CMMS, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook
  • Extensive electrical, mechanical, and plumbing knowledge of commercial facilities with strong background in critical data center operations
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service

Estimated total compensation for this position:

180,000.00 - 205,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
