The Lee laboratory is focused on understanding disease-induced changes in the tissue microenvironment and their impact on drug distribution and therapeutic actions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate records of the experiments suitable for the preparation of manuscripts and grant proposals.
  • Present the results at scientific meetings.
  • Participate in weekly lab meetings, Journal Clubs and common seminars within the Department.
  • Learn and perform hands-on experiments to make progress in research projects.
  • Data analysis and quantification.
  • Participate in writing manuscripts and grant proposals.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


  • Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in science or related field required.
    • A minimum of 3 years related research experience.
    • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices, and methods.
    • Proficient in specific lab research techniques.


    Preferred Qualifications
    • Master's degree in science preferred.
    • Previous experience with lab work.
    • Experience with optical microscopy and protein/antibody engineering and synthesis is advantageous.
    • Omics study and bioinformatics experience is preferred.
