We're looking for a Mechanical Claims Specialist who can combine technical know-how with top-tier customer service to deliver fast, fair, and accurate claim resolutions. What You'll Do * Use your mechanical expertise to evaluate and process vehicle repair claims * Communicate with dealerships, repair shops, and vehicle owners via phone and email * Explain claim decisions clearly and professionally-whether approved, denied, or pending * Guide customers through the claims process, including next steps and documentation * Maintain accurate records using internal systems and claims software * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and transparent claims experience * Handle a variety of cases, from impounded vehicles to complex repair authorizations Types of Calls You'll Handle * Dealerships: Confirming whether specific repairs are covered under warranty * Vehicle Owners: Explaining claim decisions and next steps * General Inquiries: Advising customers on how to initiate a claim or get a repair quote What You Bring * 3+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive mechanic or in a related field * Strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair processes * Excellent communication skills-especially over the phone and via email * Customer service experience, with a calm and empathetic approach * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word) and CRM systems * Ability to multitask across multiple monitors and software platforms * High school diploma or GED required * ASE certification is a plus * Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a bonus Tools & Tech You Might Use * Salesforce (CRM) * AllData or Mitchell labor guides * Scan tools (a plus, not required) Additional Details * Must be available for a 2-week onsite onboarding training * Occasional Saturday availability required * Must have a quiet home workspace and high-speed internet for remote work Why This Role? * Step into a stable, full-time position with room to grow * Use your mechanical skills in a new, less physically demanding way * Join a team that values fairness, integrity, and customer satisfaction * Enjoy a modern work environment with strong support and training *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
