Job Title: Principal Engineer II - Functional Lead Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM
Location: AZ - Chandler 3075
What you'll do: As a Functional Lead for Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM, you will work closely with business partners, developers, product owners, systems analysts, and various implementation teams to define and deliver effective business systems and solutions for applications. You will be part of the solution delivery team helping with implementation and upgrade, perform issue troubleshooting, and drive resolution working with other IT teams for the corporate systems. You will work to mature the tools and practices used by the Solution Delivery teams. You will be responsible for leading the initiatives, coming up with a plan, and execution of the project working closely with all stakeholders for successful delivery. As an Oracle functional lead, you will act as a thought leader and will continuously work to implement new features from Oracle to WAB environment.
- Understand Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM finance and accounting flows to work effectively with business stakeholders.
- Lead projects and manage them end to end by creating a plan and owning execution of the plan while working collaboratively with all stakeholders.
- Assist with all phases of the solution delivery lifecycle, including specifying features, working with IT developers and vendors, coordinating with the implementation team, supporting testing activities, facilitating business testing, and overseeing deployment efforts.
- Create and maintain system architecture, data flow, functional flow documents, and other technical artifacts working with domain architects, business, and other technology teams for new solutions being implemented.
- Participate in the Change Management process for the applications.
- Provide training to end users and/or other IT personnel whenever needed.
- Review current documentation for the applications and update as appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with the wider technology teams to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues and understand overlaps of teams and applications.
- Assist with support activities for existing solutions, including regular business interactions and facilitating delivery of improvements and bug fixes as required.
- Ability to write functional specification documents, test plans, test scripts pertaining to Oracle Cloud ERP Finance tasks.
What you'll need:
- 10+ years of experience working with Oracle financials or similar enterprise platforms with a minimum 5 years as an Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM functional lead .
- Bachelor's degree in related field required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred.
- Sound knowledge of core Oracle Cloud ERP Finance modules - AP, Expenses, AHCS, GL, FA, AR, Advanced Collections.
- Sound knowledge of Oracle Cloud EPM applications - ARCS, EDMCS, FCCS, EPBCS.
- Experience translating business needs into system requirements and configurations.
- Good communication skills with any type of audience, internal (all levels)/external (to include vendors - Sales/Technology).
- 10+ years' experience working with MS-SQL or other databases.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle processes.
- Good understanding of Problem Management processes.
- Understanding of Incident Management processes, including Root Cause Analysis processes and documentation.
- MS Azure and other cloud experience preferred.
- Familiar with Active Directory, Security Groups and Service Accounts.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and Project Management processes.
- Hands-on software development and/or implementation experience preferred.
- Experience of Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools preferred.
- Experience of Lucidchart, ADO, or similar tools preferred.
- 10+ years of experience writing functional and/or technical requirements for software implementations.
