Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A Position
Location:West Des Moines, IA Job ID: #71133 Pay Range: $40-50 Duration: 24 months contract - W2 hourly Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic team. The role will be critical in driving financial analysis, accurate reporting and maturing and improving certain processes. The selected candidate will also lead and drive our Fixed Asset and CAPEX story and drive appropriate actions with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: * Financial Close and Reporting: * Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial close and quarterly accounting requirements * Analyze financial results to identify significant variances from budget, forecast, and prior periods * Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to ensure compliance with accounting policies * Perform ad hoc business and financial analysis and tasks as required by the team * Capital Planning and Fixed Assets: * Evaluate and prioritize capital expenditure (CapEx) proposals * Prepare and manage the annual capital budget as well as track monthly project spending * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate project assumptions and timelines. Education / Certifications * BA/BS in Accounting or Finance required * CPA, CMA or MBA preferred *Experience / Qualifications * 3-5 years of experience in Accounting and/or FP&A, with a focus on manufacturing environments * Strong analytical and organizational skills * Detail oriented individual with a strong focus on achieving results * Self-Motivated individual with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines * Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and can communicate effectively within all levels of the organization * Strong working knowledge of MS Office products, SAP and OneStream US Citizen and US Person candidates permitted Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
