Take on this managerial role with UnitedHealth Group and you'll be part of a team that's reshaping how health care works for millions. Here's where you come in. You'll use your solid customer service and leadership skills to ensure quality of interactions and performance of providers in our networks. Primary Responsibilities:



  • Oversee performance of end-to-end provider claims servicing and call quality
  • Set team direction, resolve problems and provide guidance to members of own team
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
  • Drive the design and implementation of programs that build/nurture positive relationships between the health plan, providers and practice managers
  • Ensure implementation of training and education programs for external providers
  • Identify gaps in network composition and services to assist network contracting and development teams
  • It's time to step up to some real challenge. You'll be part of a performance driven, fast paced organization that is serving multiple markets and you'll be managing and mentoring a production based team to meet aggressive goals

Required Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of provider relations experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • 1+ years of experience with Medicare and Medicaid regulations
  • Intermediate level of knowledge of claims processing
  • Proven exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
  • Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
