Clinical Director - ACC AllHealth Network is seeking a qualified licensed Clinical Director to join our Acute Care Campus team. We are looking for dedicated professionals passionate about behavioral health services. The Clinical Director will develop, administer, and lead the clinical care and operations of Acute Care Services utilizing evidence based, best practice models that align with the mission-driven, value-based culture of the organization. This position oversees the clinical operations of the Crisis Walk in Clinic, Crisis Stabilization Unit, and Acute Treatment Unit As a team we strive every day to nurture growth and recovery by caring for each other, our clients, and our future. Shift: Full-Time Pay Rate: $120,000 - $128,000 The base salary range represents the low and high end of the AllHealth Network salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks' total compensation package for employees. - Develop high functioning teams that promote focus on clinical outcomes, customer satisfaction and team-based care.
- Contribute to the financial health of the organization by ensuring that all programs function within their specified budgets.
- Promote staff growth and development through ongoing supervision and coaching of managers and supervisors. Ensure all clinical staff receive the supervision, training and coaching needed to impact positive clinical outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with internal leaders and external community partners to ensure quality customer service, continuity of care and development of programs that meet the needs of our community.
- Provide leadership to and set the direction for assigned clinical services on day-to-day operations across Acute Care Services
- Work collaboratively with the VP of Acute Care Services and other clinical leadership to establish programs in alignment with the organization's Mission, Vision and Values.
- Adhere to the principles of evidence-based leadership including using the tools provided for staff engagement, and monitoring staff progress and growth
- Behave as an authentic leader who is able to give and receive feedback for growth of self and others.
- In conjunction with Human Resources representatives and Program Managers/Supervisors, review and oversee all disciplinary actions for staff within Acute Care Services.
- Identify, implement and monitor customer service standards to ensure teams are meeting internal and external customer needs in a professional manner.
- Review data and lead quality improvement initiatives as needed to ensure all clinical programs are accessible, financially viable and result in improved clinical outcomes
- Monitor clinical outcomes and program fidelity to ensure that high quality and evidence-based interventions are being delivered and that clients are improving
- Build, strengthen and maintain relationships with community partners, law enforcement, payers, vendors, and hospitals for access to care, quality of care, contracting, and utilization management needs to support Acute Care Services operations.
- Work with the VP of Acute Care Services to develop, administer and adhere to the annual budget, unit projections and other data measures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and other regulations governing division services.
- Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate in behavioral health discipline
- Licensed in behavioral health field (i.e., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LP)
- Licensed Addictions Counselor
- Minimum of 5+ years of leadership in a behavioral health or other healthcare setting. Prefer experience with clinical operations of inpatient psychiatric treatment and crisis response.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Demonstrated clinical competency in primary areas of program oversight
- Demonstrated experience and/or training in assessment and identifying and treating individuals who display behaviors that are common to individuals with severe and persistent mental health disorders
- Highly competent leader, adept at motivating and engaging teams in an inpatient environment
- High level skills working with data in Excel or other business intelligence software
- Knowledgeable in behavioral health rules and regulations including the 27-65 rules and processes.
- Knowledge of managed care and utilization review systems.
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written formats.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Ability to work well with internal and external customers.
- Must have strong computer skills, with the ability to use Microsoft Office programs.
