The Operations Manager Phys Med & Rehab This role manages and supervises the operational work of the PT, OT, ST, Patient Transport, and Cardiac Rehabilitation staff and departmental logistics. It is responsible for operations within departments to assure positive patient outcomes, efficient processes to assure operational management of volume growth. It provides direction, leadership and supervision to operations staff through guidance and communication of needs and expectations. It completes introductory and annual evaluations on time for operations lead staff. Is responsible to utilizes the Human Resources Department for recruitment, retention, employee relations and employee development activities as needed and works collaboratively with Director to assure new patient volume is added and maintained.

Educational Requirements:




  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy (minimum) or Associates in Physical Therapy Assistant [PTA]
  • Additional coursework in healthcare or business administration desirable



Experience/Requirements




  • Five to seven years clinical experience



Licensure/Certification/Registration:




  • Current Maryland licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant., Occupational Therapist, or Speech Therapist.
  • Current CPR Certification



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:




  • Demonstrated ability to teach peer/students and to manage patient scheduling
  • Requires ability to initiate professional dialogue with co-workers, hospital staff and patients
  • Requires ability to communicate effectively in emergency/stressful situations and convey complex explanations effectively for education and information purposes
  • Computer skills

Salary Range: Minimum $46.96/hour - Maximum $82.18/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
