Job Summary

Responsible for the overall maintenance, physical operation and safety of all assigned buildings, grounds, utilities, support equipment and general operations of the assigned physical plants. Responsible for giving direction, motivation and guidance to Operations team members. Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with public utility, environmental and public safety agencies. Manages Environment of Care and Life Safety standards to ensure compliance with the Joint Commission and local, state, and federal agencies, as required. Partners with the Facilities leadership team and other internal and external teams to support a highly reliable, customer-focused organizational structure that provides for a cost effective model and provides for a safe and comfortable environment for our patients, visitors and staff.
Essential Functions
  • Manages all hospital and outpatient facility corrective and preventive maintenance activities, ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of the facility.
  • Oversees the planning, procurement, project management and use of equipment needed to ensure timely and efficient response to work requests and capital projects.
  • Develops, implements and maintains departmental annual operating budgets, ensuring that operations are managed within established guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Required Bachelor's Degree years of experience in a related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience health care facilities Required
