Job Description

Visa is seeking an experienced, creative, and highly organizedEvent Marketing Managerto join our global events team supporting the Value-Added Services business unit. In this visible and fast-paced role, you'll be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering outstanding events that support business growth and showcase Visa's brand.

This is more than just logistics - you'll collaborate with top marketing, sales, and product leaders, as well as regional counterparts, to create activations that deliver on key business objectives. As a hands-on contributor, you'll own every aspect of event production, from vendor management, logistics and on-site execution to project managing content development and speaker preparation. You'll produce events that set industry standards and spark meaningful engagement with our clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage Visa-hosted events, third-party tradeshow activations, and webinars from initial planning through production and post-event reporting.
  • Oversee logistics, including third-party tradeshow services, venue sourcing, warehousing, and booth design, build, setup.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and regional teams to ensure activations align with business priorities and deliver meaningful engagement.
  • Manage production timelines, budgets, and related documentation to keep projects on track.
  • Project manage the development of event materials - session descriptions, communications, and promotional content - in partnership with marketing colleagues.
  • Ensure seamless execution and uphold a high standard of quality across all assigned events.
  • Contribute to the Events Center of Excellence by updating event calendars, asset libraries, and project management tools for team alignment and visibility.
  • Track and report on established event metrics and participate in quarterly analysis to inform and improve future event planning and execution processes.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with 2+ years) in B2B event management or corporate events.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing third-party tradeshow logistics and services - this is crucial.
  • Hands-on experience producing small and large-scale events, including digital/webinar formats.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills: budgeting, timeline management, vendor relations, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to interact confidently with internal and external partners.
  • Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to juggle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • High degree of professionalism, courtesy, and respect. Skilled at building and maintaining cross-functional relationships.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 105,800.00 to 153,450.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
