  • Work in partnership with the Director of Finance to monitor the Department's fiscal management, determine the best use of funds per strategic direction and build up clinical reserves and philanthropy to ensure resources for future projects, recruitments, and Departmental needs.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain outstanding faculty. Address system-level factors adversely impacting faculty well-being.
  • Ensure an atmosphere of support, opportunity, and professional advancement
  • Be a role model and exemplar for ethical compliance.
  • Demand the highest standards of professional conduct throughout the Department.
  • Devise a work ethic framework that is productive and respectful of staff well-being.
