Your Role

At Atlas Copco, the Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) plays a pivotal role in aligning people strategies with business goals. Our mission is to empower leaders and employees alike by fostering a culture of trust, inclusion, and high performance. As a strategic partner, you will champion employee engagement, talent development, and workforce planning-ensuring every stage of the employee journey, from onboarding to offboarding, is seamless and impactful. Together, we drive business success through the power of people. As a member of the Human Resource team, you will report directly to the Human Resource Manager and have a Human Resource Assistant report to you. This is a hybrid role based at our Voorheesville, NY facility, requiring on-site presence three days per week. In-office attendance is mandatory on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week.

  • Strategic HR Partnership: Advise managers on performance, engagement, and workforce planning, coach leaders on effective people practices, and champion a culutre of inclusion and continuous improvement.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to fill key roles efficiently.
  • Employee Relations: Support employees from onboarding to offboarding, resolve employee relations issues fairly and consistently, and foster a positive collabortive work environment.
  • Talent Development: Deliver impactful development programs, promote learning and leadership readiness, and support succession planning initiatives.
  • HR Reporting: Track and report on key metrics like engagement, time to fill, and leadership development.


To succeed, you will need

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a business partner role
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and global mobility
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and leadership development
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to influence at all levels and build trusted relationships
  • Skilled in project management, data analysis, and HRIS systems
  • High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus
