Our Environmental Health and Safety Team, in Corporate Group, is looking for a Data Analyst to join them!

You will report to the Environmental Health & Safety Project Operations Leader. This role requires you to be on site at our corporate headquarters in East Aurora, New York, several days each week.

In this role, you will collect, analyze, and interpret Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) data to support compliance and risk management. You will develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor EHS performance metrics, collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve processes. You will also support EHS initiatives through data analysis, ensure data integrity and confidentiality, and partner with IT and engineering teams to build and maintain data ecosystems.

To be considered for the Data Analyst role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:

  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of data analysis concepts and techniques.
  • At least one year of experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and data visualization software like Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new data management systems and databases.
  • Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work on-site; relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.
  • Due to the access of data necessary for this role, US citizenship is required.

As a Data Analyst, you will:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret EHS data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor EHS performance metrics across the company.
  • Collaborate with EHS team members to identify data needs and ensure data accuracy.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve EHS processes and compliance.
  • Support the development and implementation of EHS initiatives through data analysis.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all data handling processes.
  • Partner with IT and engineering teams to build and maintain mature data ecosystems.

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
