SR. Ground Support Equip Mechanic - "W-TRS" Fort Irwin, California N.T.C.

This is a CBA Role: The effective rate of pay between July 1 2024 and July 1 2025 will be $44.76/hour

Job Description:

*Manages and supervises a team of generator technicians and general maintenance workers.

*Maintains and repairs generator systems, transfer switches, switchgear, and other mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure various machines operate efficiently and reliably.

*Employs a blend of technical expertise and precision to troubleshoot and diagnose issues. Utilizes specialized equipment to identify faulty components and install replacement parts.

*Provides oversite for remote site fueling operations and manages a team of general maintenance workers providing support for facility repairs as required. Conducts regular system maintenance such as lubrication and load testing to ensure efficient output and distribution.

*Ensures team members are collecting and inputting all maintenance data into Maximo for work order tracking.
