Job Details

The University of Kansas, School of Pharmacy seeks an Assistant Professor in Pharmacology and Toxicology for a full-time, tenure-track position. The position comes with state supported salary for nine-months, an opportunity for grant supported summer salary for an additional 3 months, and a highly competitive start-up package. An individual is sought with research expertise in studies of the mechanisms of disease and drug action, with the goal to advance disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for drug abuse disorders, Alzheimer's disease or other neurological or neuropsychiatric disorders. The position requires teaching graduate and pharmacy students, establishing an active externally funded research program and service.
