We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Marketing Intern to join Spacelabs Healthcare, a leading innovator in the medical device industry. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both upstream and downstream marketing projects. The intern will conduct market research, assist in product positioning, and support the development of marketing strategies for new product launches. Additionally, the intern will help execute marketing campaigns, create content for promotional materials, and analyze campaign performance. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills, looking to grow their career in marketing within the medical device sector.

This onsite position is based at Spacelabs headquarters in Snoqualmie, Washington.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends.
  • Assist in the development of product positioning and messaging strategies.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure marketing insights are integrated into product design.
  • Support the creation of business cases and marketing plans for new product launches.
  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Develop content for marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital media.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to provide marketing support and gather feedback.
  • Perform various administrative duties to support the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and maintaining databases.
  • Uphold the company's core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.
  • Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:
    • Marketing
    • Communications
    • Healthcare related field
  • Previous clinical experience a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Creative thinker, proactive problem solver, and passionate about medical device innovation.
  • Previous internship or coursework in product management, marketing or medical devices is a plus but not required.
