Description
The hours for this position are: Monday - Thursday: 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM Fridays: 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM / 9:45 AM - 6:15 PM (Alternating) Saturdays: 2 per month from 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM Role Responsible for overseeing service center operations to ensure that financial, operational, service and growth objectives are achieved. The role involves providing exceptional service to members, promoting continuous employee development, and actively participating in community events. This leadership position requires a comprehensive approach to maintaining high standards and driving the success of the service center. Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Exemplifies the core values of CAMPUS while supporting our strategic priorities for members, employees, and community. Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Effectively represents the credit union when engaging with members, community organizations, vendors, financial institutions, and similar groups
- Assist members by providing credit union products and services, including opening new accounts and approving consumer loans according to credit union policy. Responsible for reviewing and authorizing underwriting decisions made by service center employees
- Supervise, mentor, and manage service center personnel. Offer guidance, motivation, and support as necessary. Conduct timely quarterly chats and performance evaluations. Organize regular team meetings to ensure effective development and communication
- Maintain regular communication with management and personnel to ensure adequate information flow within the organization. Prepare and submit standard reports to ensure that key stakeholders are informed about operational activities. Actively participates in scheduled management meetings to discuss and address important business matters
- Monitor all service center activities to ensure they comply with established credit union policies and procedures
- Regular and timely audits are conducted in accordance with the established internal controls of the service center
- Exhibit positive conduct that is worthy of emulation by colleagues, both in person and on social media
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree OR
- A combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily may be substituted
Experience
- 5 - 7 years of similar or related experience
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- 3+ years of branch operations experience within a financial institution
