Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, execute and deliver one or more strategic initiatives
- Will be the primary architect and hands on technology leader
- Responsible for development and support of various applications in the group and hands-on design, architecting and development of solutions
- Responsible for developing clean and progressively enhanced code for complex enterprise applications
Requirements:
- 12+ years of total experience with at least 8+ years of hands on core Java experience
- Prior experience in managing/leading a team of 4-6 developers
- At least 2+ years of complete user interface development experience using Angular 5+
- Unix/Linux scripting
- Understand Single Sign-On set up, OAuth 2.0, HTTP headers implementation for mitigating security risks
- Middle tier development - Webservices, spring boot, REST
- HTML/DHTML, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript, TypeScript
- 5+ years of backend database development - Oracle preferred
- Experience in using SDM tools -, JIRA, Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.
- Effective problem solving skills and insist on highest standards
- Very strong communication skills, and ability to interact with senior business partners as well as senior technology management
- Experience with both External and Insider Threat as focus areas within Information Security
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint and Visio
- Understands Investment banking and primary markets to design efficient solutions
- Ability to navigate and work effectively across a complex, geographically dispersed organization
- Exceptional communication and business relationship skills
- Ability to build consensus and cooperation as well as to influence, interact and negotiate with senior leadership in the organization
- Knowledge of change and project management methodologies and principles and the ability to integrate them into project design
- Broad knowledge of Information Security technologies, techniques and processes
- Experience leading complex technical projects, meeting target timelines, facilitating project meetings, authoring project documentation, issue resolution, and project resource identification
- Demonstrable ability to self-direct creation of the vision and implementation of strategic patterns across the enterprise, with minimal supervision to achieve program goals
- Excellent process design capability to improve overall efficiency, mitigate resource conflicts, and improve customer/client experience
- Strong analytical skills along with deep technical expertise and the ability to dive into technical details including design and development and troubleshooting of complex issues

Pay range: $63.68 - $71.68
