Responsibilities The Pediatric & Adolescent SANE Nurse is a credentialed SANE P/A who provides emergent medical and forensic evaluations for children and adolescents who are the suspected victims of sexual abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking, or other forms of child maltreatment. This includes forensic photography, evidence collection, maintaining chain of custody, providing court testimony when required and serving as a liaison for emergency department healthcare teams, detectives, attorneys, crisis center advocates, child advocacy center personnel and child protection workers. The SANE P/A will provide services for patients aged 0-18 who seek services at a Norton Healthcare hospital for sexual assault, abuse or trafficking. Qualifications Required:
