Job Title: Repossession Specialist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Repossession Specialist to coordinate the repossession and timely disposal of property that serves as collateral on loans and leases. This role involves controlling delinquency on outstanding leases that are two or more months past due and collecting the outstanding balance on lease receivable items. Responsibilities * Work with accounts at every stage of delinquency through charge-off. * Coordinate the repossession process to ensure timely retrieval of property. * Manage the sale of repossessed property to recover funds. * Ensure compliance and proper documentation for all processes and expenses related to repossessions. Essential Skills * Experience in collections, sales, retail, administrative, customer service, insurance, and banking. * Ability to work with multiple systems and possess strong computer literacy. * Competence in systems analysis, workflow, or procedural analysis. * Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software. Additional Skills & Qualifications * BS or Associate degree with retail or sales experience preferred. * High School Diploma with collections or call center experience. * Financial background or banking experience is a plus. * Strong administrative skills and well-spoken communication abilities. Work Environment This position is fully onsite in WCC with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
