As System Manager of Marketing and Communications, the position is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that support service line growth and enhance brand equity and awareness. The primary functions of this role will involve management of advertising programs, community outreach strategies, physician-aligned initiatives, and programs that align with the System's annual business plan. The position will report to the System Director of Marketing and Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to achieve business plan goals including brand awareness advertising campaigns, patient acquisition strategies, and market share growth initiatives.
  • Create and manage the System's internal content program through engaging and informative communications across multiple channels.
  • Support the development and execution of multimedia assets including collateral, graphic design, internal video production, and more, ensuring brand consistency and visual impact across all channels.
  • Manage outreach campaigns to effectively engage with community stakeholders through events and partnerships that enhance brand awareness and public engagement.
  • Oversee social media channels through the development of strategic content placement that drives audience engagement and demonstrates online growth.
  • Collaborate with business development and physician relations departments to strengthen referral networks, ensure alignment on clinical programs, and create outreach initiatives that enhance patient and provider satisfaction.
  • Partner with the corporate agency to create compelling advertising content that resonates with the target audience and aligns with strategic growth initiatives.
  • Support the System Director with public relations and media outreach strategies including building relationships with media representatives, developing content, and enhancing the organization's public presence.
  • Develop and implement brand-aligned storytelling content that effectively communicates the organization's mission and values across various platforms.
  • Lead and manage projects with strategic significance, track project deliverables, identify process improvements, and meet defined department standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experienced marketing professional: A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is typically required (5 or more years required).
  • Industry knowledge: Experience working in the healthcare industry is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively communicate with both patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze internal data, identify industry and local trends, and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Project management background: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Content strategy skills: Proficiency in social media, content marketing, and advertising project management.
  • Innovative thinking and adaptability: Ability to develop creative marketing campaigns and adapt to changing market conditions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications required.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or public relations required
  • Demonstrated managerial and/or project management experience preferred.
