Summary: In this role, you will lead the development and execution of client migration strategies for Purchased Services, including onboarding new clients and driving GPO optimization initiatives. You will work closely with sourcing consultants, implementation project leads, and the spend management team to transform Accounts Payable data into a strategic purchased services roadmap. Your key contributions will include identifying, implementing, and documenting contract opportunities, conducting impact analyses, and ensuring all implemented values are accurately captured. You will collaborate directly with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to manage contract enrollments, transitions, and standardization efforts. Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between Vizient teams (e.g., Spend Management, Implementation, Advisory Solutions, Aptitude), suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless collaboration and communication. Develop and implement purchased services opportunity roadmaps that align client spend with Vizient contracted services and GPO optimization strategies. Lead efforts to streamline and automate contract enrollment and supplier connection workflows to accelerate speed-to-value for clients and internal stakeholders. Leverage tools, data, and cross-functional input to continuously improve implementation timelines and reduce friction in the enrollment lifecycle. Analyze client spend data and supplier contract alignment to identify value opportunities, facilitate conversions, and support cost reduction and performance improvement. Align sourcing initiatives with contract expirations, preparing value and impact analyses to support client decision-making and drive standardization efforts. Maintain a strong understanding of client business objectives and supplier capabilities to ensure ongoing alignment and engagement throughout project lifecycles. Promote and implement strategic programs that support client-specific sourcing goals and broader spend management initiatives. Conduct supplier business reviews and present feedback to drive consistency in implementation and maximize value delivery. Build and sustain strategic relationships with suppliers and clients to co-develop business strategies and expand adoption of contracted services. Apply project management best practices to oversee multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring timely execution, measurable results, and consistent acceleration of value realization through process automation and workflow optimization. Contribute data and insights to support proposals and selling strategies for enterprise offerings such as Purchased Services, Technology Performance Management (TPM), and Statement of Work (SOW) solutions.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree in business, healthcare operations, nursing or related field preferred; advanced degree desired. 7 or more years of relevant experience required. (e.g., Group Purchasing with a focus on Purchased Services in the healthcare industry; purchased services contracting and outsourced service models) Strong financial and value analysis skills, including the ability to interpret spend data and identify opportunities. Proven project management ability, with the capacity to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Strategic thinker with the ability to align client needs with contract structures and sourcing strategies to drive value and efficiency. Exceptional communication and presentation skills with comfort engaging executive-level stakeholders. Demonstrated success building cross-functional relationships and supplier partnerships. Experience leading initiatives with Supply Chain, C-Suite, clinical teams, and service line leadership. Proven ability to design and implement technology-driven process improvements, including automation and AI-enabled tools-to enhance operational efficiency, reduce cycle time, and accelerate time-to-value in GPO, sourcing, contracting, onboarding, or supplier connectivity workflows. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and automation tools to support data analysis and workflow optimization.

Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.
