About the role Reporting to the NPD AM&B Manager, the Controls Engineer is responsible for the design and implementation of control systems for packaging machinery. Key responsibilities include developing and documenting PLC, HMI, and motion control solutions in new equipment designs as well as upgrading and modifying existing systems. The Controls Engineer provides ongoing technical support and troubleshooting to systems, service and manufacturing teams. The NPD team is composed of engineering professionals located in Aurora and Sussex with most prototyping activities based in Aurora, IL. This role offers a strong opportunity for cross-functional collaboration with peer engineers, engineering supervisors, enterprise engineering, machine assembly teams, and procurement. Compensation The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis' total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $120-$150K for this salaried exempt role. Compensation details listed in US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits.
