What You'll Do:

• Lead and mentor a small team of R&D pros on projects that enhance product quality and consumer experience.
• Innovate! Design, test, and scale up new snack concepts using your scientific and creative skills.
• Solve real-world problems using root cause analysis and critical thinking to improve formulations and processes.
• Be the bridge between R&D and other teams like manufacturing, marketing, packaging, procurement, and sales.
• Stay ahead of trends by scouting new ingredients, technologies, and consumer insights.
• Dive into plant trials - from planning to execution - making sure your lab ideas work on a production scale.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, quality, and documentation.
• Present your findings and innovations to leadership teams - your work won't go unnoticed!

What You Bring:

• A bachelor's degree in food science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (master's a plus!).
• 2-4 years of experience in food product development in snacks.
• A proven ability to apply food science to real product challenges and launch-ready solutions.
• Strong project management skills - you're comfortable juggling multiple timelines and priorities.
• Comfort presenting data and ideas to cross-functional teams and decision-makers.
• A curious mind that's always looking for what's next in taste, texture, and technology.
• A self-starter attitude with the confidence to lead and the humility to collaborate.
