Job Title: Sr. Software Developer

Job Duties: Uline, Inc. seeks a Sr. Software Developer in Waukegan, IL to design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain complex web applications based on business requirements. Perform design and code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance and application responsiveness. Assist in project planning and architectural design reviews. Utilize Elastic and Dynatrace. Mentor other developers on programming issues and exhibit leadership in cross development practices. Enhance and support e-commerce sites as well as sales, intranet, and internal web applications using object-oriented design, web application architecture, and relational database design. Collaborate with development team to ensure process consistency and timely completion of deliverables. Deliver web solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, and Typescript. Code versioning and CI/CD tools. Create software models and diagrams showing programmers application code needed. Write SQL queries. Maintain normal software functionality through software maintenance and testing. Document applications for future maintenance and upgrades. Annual salary: $133,980 - $133,980.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus 6 years of progressive software development experience, including: (1) Conducting architectural design and review; (2) Object-Oriented design, web application architecture, and relational database design; (3) Delivering web and e-commerce solutions using Java, Sprint Boot, MVC, and JavaScript; (4) Writing SQL queries; (5) debugging Typescript and jQuery code; and (6) developing single page web applications.
