Are you driven by a passion to advance mental health science and make a real difference? Join us as a Research Assistant on a cutting-edge, NIMH-funded study aimed at evaluating a pioneering intervention to enhance the accuracy of self-assessments in individuals with schizophrenia.
In this dynamic role, you will provide crucial technical support across a variety of research projects and conduct research activities in strict accordance with established protocols, directly contributing to impactful scientific advancements.
Funding Information:
This position is grant-funded, either fully or in part, with continued employment contingent upon funding availability.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in one of the basic sciences or an equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service or in daily interactions in a public services environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Research Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Recruiting study participants in accordance with research protocols
  • Administering behavioral testing and ecological momentary assessments (EMA)
  • Managing and maintaining research data with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Organizing and coordinating project-related tasks to ensure smooth study operations
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support the success of the research team

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of participants and community members
  • Strong written communication skills for documentation, reporting, and correspondence
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to use these tools effectively in a research setting

Remote Work:
This position is on-site and in-person only.
Travel:
