DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be tasked with operating a vehicle to facilitate the pickup and delivery of essential parts and inventory. Your responsibilities will include assisting yard personnel in receiving materials and maintaining the organization of stockpiled items. Additionally, you will engage in SEMP-related activities, which involve ensuring the proper containment and signage of hazardous materials. You will also help maintain records of highway materials and equipment, as well as perform various building maintenance and housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, trash removal, and grounds upkeep, including mowing, raking, landscaping, and snow removal. Furthermore, you will support garage staff with maintenance tasks and may participate in the Potter County herbicide program.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Work hours subject to weather/seasonal change.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Conditions of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
