Job Description

The Salesforce Marketing Digital Technology team is looking for a Director, Product Management to deliver transformational change to our prospect, customer and event experience through innovations and development of platform services that modernize our lead generating forms and authenticated experiences.

This is a technical product management role directly overseeing the backlog of a team delivering identity based experiences while contributing to the future roadmap of Salesforce products. Candidates for this role will have extensive background in leading the development of sophisticated identity based experiences with global teams at scale.

This role will work with a global team of product managers with a focus on fostering and building engaging and elevating experiences for Salesforce customers and Trailblazers. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in defining product strategy, vision, roadmap and stakeholder engagement while building and leading teams running engineering backlogs. Candidates will benefit from experience in AI/ML, marketing technology and working on large scale websites and events platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to adoption, including requirements with prioritized features, corresponding justification, and success metrics.

  • Authors and maintains the backlog for a high-performing engineering team.

  • Vigilantly focus on the trusted delivery of customer success.

  • Oversee delivery of products and projects involving a variety of technologies and ensure solutions align with long-term objectives.

  • Lead decision-making and collaboration across a broad network of stakeholders, delivery partners, and operational teams.

  • Maintain and lead awareness of industry best practices and relevant technologies.

  • Develop, and cultivate amazing people and teams through collaboration and leadership.

  • Manage employees, contractors or services providers as required.

Required Skills/Experience

  • 10+ years relevant experience in product management and delivery

  • Experience with identity management including registration, authentication, authorization, and account merges

  • Experience with data capture optimization, conversion funnel analysis, and form abandonment reduction strategies

  • Experience with fraud-detection and mitigation strategies

  • Experience with building products that utilize Ontology and Knowledge Graphs

  • Salesforce technology expertise preferred including Salesforce Platform and Data Cloud

  • Experience in Marketing and content management systems

  • Leading the development of customer facing/public properties and experiences

  • Significant experience in scrum/agile practices and backlog management

  • Managing with global teams at scale across multiple hubs and time zones

  • Overseeing vendor partners and teams extended with contractors

  • Delivery accountability for complex development scenarios and technology

  • Experience in Marketing, Community and Content based apps

  • Leading development of customer facing/public properties and experiences

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to oversee multiple complex project deliveries in parallel

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • A related technical degree required
