The Publisher and Developer relations team at Nintendo of America is responsible for the acquisition, operations and amplification of most non-Nintendo developed software on our platforms. The personnel within this department work closely with major video game publishers such as Electronic Arts, Activision, Ubisoft and Warner Bros., boutique publishers such 505 Games, Devolver Digital and Annapurna Interactive, and up-and-coming independent developers like Super Giant Games, House House and Studio MDHR, to ensure their great content comes to Nintendo platforms.

We are actively recruiting on two openings; Manager, Product Planning - Digital Games and Manager, Product Planning - Games-as-a-Service.


DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Provides strategy related to team performance and defines resources needed to achieve a high level of
    success.
  • Partners in the overall process to ensure that results align with original specifications and plan.
  • Develops, maintains, and leverages internal and external relationships.
  • Manages product forecasts to ensure accuracy of dates, which in turn affects manufacturing and sales
    projections.
  • Participates & oversees continuous process improvement activities, to optimize systems and process, to
    increase productivity.
  • Establishes team goals in alignment with department and company goals, including establishing
    milestones, measuring progress, and communicating goals and progress with team and management.
  • Collaborates with strategic partners to promote business growth.
  • Manages and advise product forecasting to ensure accuracy of sales projections, and manufacturing dates,
    where applicable.
  • Analyzes reports and provides insights on accounts by partnering with business analyst to identify KPIs of
    operational business through ad-hoc and scheduled reporting on performance, value and trends
  • Manages and supports new program and system deployments through process optimization, policy
    creation, and resources in collaboration with global partners.
  • Processes and monitors end to end production of third party software from product initiation to release.
  • Works with global technical and functional teams to ensure alignment with production and scheduling of
    content release.
  • Monitors and reports on process compliance for JSOX and other audit procedures.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Six (6) to eight (8) years of related experience.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience performing statistical analysis.
  • Experience working with databases.
  • Project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle EBS, OM/IPM and BMS preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Japanese language fluency preferred
  • Undergraduate degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of
    education and experience.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $117,400- $211,300 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
