Job Description
Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Golf Operations Administrator for the beautiful Barton Creek Country Club! Responsibilities
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the operation's needs.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
- Provide outstanding customer service to all members and resort guests.
- Work closely with the Director of Golf Operations to ensure efficient operations and adminitrative support.
- Enforce all the facility's rules and regulations governing the use of the golf course, golf cars, and other golf facilities.
- Manage all Birchstreet orders/purchase orders for golf operations. Place all operational orders that are "group" purchases.
- Summarize and communicate the monthly budget and coordinate all monthly budgets and orders with the Head Golf Professionals, detailing and assisting with all orders and budget allowances/variances.
- B Book FormStack, reciprocal, and member unaccompanied guest play. Uphold reservation policies and procedures.
- Help coordinate and support the All In/Omni culture, creating an enjoyable and rewarding work environment for the associates of the golf operation.
- Answering phones, taking messages, responding to emails, and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff or departments.
- Maintaining files, updating databases (like membership information), and managing records related to club activities and events.
- Assisting with the planning and execution of club events, including social gatherings, tournaments, and competitions.
- Providing information to members and guests, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Ordering supplies, managing mail, and maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
- Assisting with tasks like processing invoices, reconciling cash drawers, and preparing reports.
- Performing a variety of tasks as needed to support the club's operations, including data entry, document preparation, and other clerical duties.
- Helping with inventory management, sales transactions, and customer service in the pro shop.
- Preparing materials for meetings, taking minutes, and assisting with logistics.
Qualifications
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- College Degree a plus, but not required.
- Must possess strong computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in multiple software applications and platforms.
- Should have strong competency if golf and general understanding of the game of golf.
- Should have a hospitality mindset, to be supportive and assist the staff and membership at Barton Creek however needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work 8 hour shifts and upwards of 12 hours during busy tournament weeks.
Working Environment:
- High paced busy environment
- Work regularly inside and outside the golf shops.
- Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions.
