We have an opportunity for a Senior IT Manager, Productivity Solutions, to join our Enterprise Applications team, part of the Information Technology department, in Golden Valley, MN. You will be responsible for establishing and leading a Center of Excellence (COE) dedicated to promoting best practices, governance, and user adoption of productivity applications including Microsoft365, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Copilot, and the Atlassian Platform within Pentair. This role will ensure that the COE aligns with the organization's strategic goals, enhances user satisfaction, and drives digital transformation.

** This is a permanent, direct-hire position. You will work a hybrid work schedule with 3 days/week on-site in Golden Valley, MN. ** #LI-Hybrid

You will:

  • Technology Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for engagement, adoption, and innovation of productivity tools.
  • Platform Administration and Management: Oversee the administration of the portfolio of tools, including environment strategy, data loss prevention policies, user management, capacity planning, and licensing. Responsible for service level agreements with service providers, internal and external customers, while monitoring service delivery to ensure the agreed targets and standards are met.
  • Evangelism and Community Building: Promote our productivity platforms through events such as app-in-a-day, hackathons, and mentorship programs. Build and maintain strong user communities within the organization.
  • User Support and Training: Integrate with existing IT support processes to provide guidance, FAQs, and define support processes and resources. Lead the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs to ensure employees are proficient in using productivity tools.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational policies to mitigate risks and enhance governance. Document and promote best practices and standards for using tools within the portfolio.
  • Build Automation and Reusable Components: Oversee automating tasks, managing application lifecycle, supporting architecture reviews, and sharing common templates and reusable components.
  • User Feedback and Continuous Improvement: Define and manage processes to collect and analyze user feedback to continuously improve adoption strategies and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and minimize resistance to new technologies.
  • Team Management: Provide direct leadership to reports and manage the day-to-day workload of the team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Have 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 2+ years of experience managing Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.
  • Have 3+ years of experience managing people, as well as strong project management and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and the Atlassian platform, including a familiarity with environmental strategy, data management, and user management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $128500 - $238600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
