We Require

  • Three years of related professional fiduciary experience, such as administration of guardianships and conservatorships, managing caseloads pertaining to meeting the personal and financial needs of clients, or related investigative work

  • Bachelor's degree with a specialization in Gerontology, Social Services, Behavioral Science, Public or Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Criminal Justice, or a closely related field

  • A combination of post-secondary education and job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.

    • NOTE: This education and experience must be in relation to guardianships, conservatorships, decedents' estates, property management, entitlements, social or mental health work, finance, accounting, investigations, bank trust work, or paralegal work with an emphasis on probate practices and procedures

  • MustpossessanArizona Fiduciary License and must maintain that license in good standing

  • Must possessor have the ability to obtaina valid Arizona driver'slicensebythe time of hire

We Also Value

  • Five years of related professional fiduciary experience, such as administration of guardianships and conservatorships, managing caseloads pertaining to meeting the personal and financial needs of clients, or related investigative work

  • Three years of supervisory experience

  • National Certified Guardian or Master Guardian with the Center for Guardianship Certification

Job Contributions

  • Provide constant oversight and performance management to staff while monitoring the completion of assignments

  • Audit caseloads to ensure accuracy and completion, including reviewing medical diagnoses, financial statements, inventory, case notes, facility licensure status, and other critical components of the file

  • Guide Fiduciaries on complex caseloads and ensure compliance with statutes, court orders, ethics, and policies and procedures

  • Engage in all aspects of supervisory responsibilities, including recruiting, onboarding, training, developing, disciplining, and reviewing employees' timecards

  • Prepare, review, analyze, and respond to legal documents, correspondence, reports, and proposed legislation

  • Provide legal coordination of cases, prepare Fiduciaries for court hearings, and testify in court as needed

  • Review and grant appropriate consent to medical and surgical procedure requests; participate in collaborative meetings concerning treatment/care planning

  • Direct meetings and conferences internally and with various stakeholders, either specific to a case or on behalf of the Public Fiduciary

  • Obtain and maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the diverse duties performed by Fiduciaries, and assist staff with compliance with rules and laws governing this profession

Working Conditions

  • Interact with the public and persons of varying degrees of mental stability, and occasionally in hostile situations

  • Enter residencesor facilitieswhere biohazard material, pest, or rodent infestations may exist

  • Must have the ability to work on-call nights and weekends on a rotating schedule
