Business Analytics Specialist



  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of products, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Datacubes and BI reports



Position Description

The Business Analytics Specialist - DA position will support the analytics & sales teams, primarily with data upload automation, data cube report maintenance & ad hoc requests.

Key activities and responsibilities include:



  • Sell through data automation of upload into the BI environment
  • Creation and maintenance of multiple reports using the BI & DA Datacube
  • Ad Hoc Reporting - provide analytical support, data gathering, and management of multiple internal and external projects promptly


Sell Through Support:



  • Point person on uploading weekly sell-through data into mFAS & BI
  • Ability to look at the current process and automate to reduce the time of task
  • Streamline the entire intake process of regional sell-thru from sales teams


Report Management:



  • Manage our current daily/weekly and monthly reports, leveraging data from BI and the DA Datacube environment
  • Needs to know how to manipulate raw data and create pivot tables within Excel
  • Can quickly learn the nuances of the data we leverage and be self-sufficient in task management


Ad Hoc Reporting:



  • Manage multiple projects, both individual and team projects, and complete them within the stated timeframe
  • Ability to manage projects and work within cross-functional teams
  • Timely delivery of analysis



Requirements:



  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of products, particularly Excel
  • Has worked in Datacubes and BI reports
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects
  • Adapt willingly and quickly to changing priorities and responsibilities
  • Highly motivated, work independently and in a team environment to achieve personal and team goals, and complete assignments within established time frames
  • Prior experience utilizing different reporting systems such as SAP & BI
  • A bachelor's degree is required for this position
  • 2+ years of work experience preferred
