Line Operator

Staffmark is seeking a dedicated Line Operator to join a well-established manufacturing facility in Hartford City, IN. Pay Rate: $18.48/hour

Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 schedule | 12-hour shifts

• One week: 36 hours
• Following week: 48 hours
• Includes weekends on a rotating basis

Responsibilities:

• Safely remove finished plastic products from the production line
• Properly stack and package items on skids according to work order and pallet pattern requirements
• Perform visual inspections and verify weights to ensure quality standards
• Communicate with line operators regarding any product issues
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety and housekeeping procedures
• Use tools including tape measures, pallet jacks, glue guns, tape guns, cut-resistant gloves, and box cutters

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per shift
• Regular lifting of up to 50-60 lbs
• Frequent bending, reaching, climbing, twisting, pushing, and pulling
• Capable of working in varying temperatures (hot and cold)
• Must be able to move loaded skids with a pallet jack (up to 15 feet)
• Previous experience in plastic extrusion or forming is a plus, but not required
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production setting
• Average math and reading skills
• Excellent attention to detail
