LUB HR Administrator

Leprino Lubbock is seeking an Human Resources Clerk.

The HR Clerk provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department. The position is responsible for clerical tasks supporting the HR with minimal supervision required. This includes scanning, document filing, supply ordering, ensuring timely record keeping, event planning, managing spreadsheets, and scheduling. The position involves prioritizing tasks and paying attention to details in order to ensure that all work assignments receive proper follow-through.

All other duties as assigned.

This position pays $25 per hour. There is an additional $1 differential for hours worked between 6pm and 6am. Weekly pay.

Job Duties:

• Assists HR Generalist with planning to ensure proper non-exempt staffing levels within the production and support departments.
• Assists Recruiter in screening applications and conducting pre-employment phone screens.
• Assists Recruiter in scheduling on-site panel interviews with candidates and supervisors.
• Assists Recruiter in coordinating completion recruitment/new hire processes such as scheduling physicals, background checks, and reference checks.
• Assists with coordination and facilitation of orientation process for new employees including the issuing of lockers.
• Validates and approves temporary labor timecards. Serves as primary contact for the temporary staffing agency.
• Confidentially coordinates electronic filing system for HR-specific records and employees files such as personnel, safety, training, legal, and medical files.
• Assists with completion, tracking, and reporting of employee attendance policy.
• Logs non-exempt training records.
• Creates and maintains tracking spreadsheets and provides reports on data as needed.
• Creates PowerPoint presentations with report data and/or event photos and presents.
• Liaison and trainer for employees in regards to questions related to Employee Self-Service (MyLeprino) and time clock.
• Prepares, analyzes, and distributes reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department.
• Establishes and maintains an accurate and employee friendly environment.
• Orders flowers and gifts as needed.
• Assists with coordinating all plant employee relation events such as Company Picnic, and Christmas Party.
• Maintains bulletin boards and lunchroom communications.
• Participates in the Community Impact Team and provides administrative support to the team.
• Maintains organized records of employee events including photos.
• Assists in the planning, ordering, organizing and distribution of employee gifts.
• Manages the uniform orders, changes, and issues.
• Orders necessary office supplies.
• Serves as liaison for employee market issues and requests.
• Validates invoices from vendors including Concentra, OccMed, and Vestis, and follows-up to ensure on-time payment.
• Creates New Hire folders and training binders.
• Performs various administrative and clerical duties for the HR team as needed.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or similar program required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English language.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to positively interact with others.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks and projects in expected time frames.
• At least 1 year of experience in a fast pace, high volume clerical support position preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be flexible to support a 24/7 operation.

We Hope You Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience in a Human Resources position or professional office environment, preferably in industrial operations.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, dairy or food manufacturing a plus.

Working Relationships:

The Human Resources Clerk reports directly to the Human Resources Generalist with no direct reports. The HR Clerk has a direct working relationship with the Technical Training Specialist, Safety personnel and the functional department managers and supervisors, with frequent contact to the corporate human resources staff. This position frequently interacts with all employees at the plant level across three shifts.
