Position Summary:

Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking Debris Operations/Admin Personnel to support administrative operations within the Debris Operations Unit. This position will partner with the Vendor Management Branch and the Project Manager to ensure effective tracking, documentation, and processing of operational and financial data. The role is essential to ensuring accuracy and accountability during incident-related debris response activities.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Provide administrative support to the Debris Operations Unit in coordination with the Vendor Management Branch and Project Manager





  • Maintain and track change orders using a master line-item index for contractor pricing





  • Assist in tracking purchase orders (POs) for costs incurred during field operations





  • Ensure missions related to vendors are accurately updated in WEBEOC





  • Coordinate with finance to facilitate prompt invoice payments to contractors





  • Prepare reports, summaries, and documentation as required for operational transparency





  • Assist with communication and coordination between field teams and administrative offices





  • Maintain organized records for audits, cost recovery, and operational accountability




Basic Qualifications:




  • 3+ years of work experience in administrative, logistics, or operations support roles





  • Familiarity with purchase order tracking, invoicing, and vendor coordination





  • Experience using platforms such as WEBEOC or similar emergency management tools





  • Strong organizational and data entry skills with attention to detail





  • Effective written and verbal communication skills





  • Must be a U.S. citizen




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Experience supporting disaster debris removal operations





  • Knowledge of state and federal procurement or cost recovery processes





  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems





  • Understanding of incident command system (ICS) structures and logistics support

  • Performance Location: On-site while on assignment (location TBD)





  • Relocation Assistance: Not applicable

  • Travel Required: Yes - up to 100% while on assignment




Working Environment:

Work is typically performed in office environments such as Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) and field coordination centers. Extended hours and travel may be required during disaster activations throughout the continental United States and its territories.
