Job SummaryThe Physics, Mathematics, and Astronomy (PMA) Division is the largest of the six academic Divisions at Caltech, with both theoretical and experimental research requirements across all three Departments. This position will report to the Division Operations Officer (DOO) and coordinate with the PMA Facilities Lead on facilities related needs within the Division. PMA has lab and office presences across multiple buildings varying in size and age, each bringing unique opportunities, and challenges. This role will be actively engaged with those facilities on campus. Working closely with the DOO and PMA Facilities Lead, this role will focus on ensuring effective coordination and communication of the maintenance and operations of all technical facilities within the Division. This will include faculty laboratories, the PMA high-bay facility, and the machine shop. This is an Essential Reporting position. An employee designated as essential reporting has essential job skills that are needed for response and recovery; and is expected to report to campus as soon as possible. Essential Job Duties
