JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Multicultural Engineering Program in the Center for Engineering Outreach and Inclusion (CEOI) hosts a 6-week residential summer bridge program for incoming first year students in engineering. This academic transition program includes exposing students to subjects such as pre-calculus/calculus, chemistry, metacognition and research. Participants also learn critical team building skills through engaging in a 6-week robotics competition and gain valuable professional development through weekly enrichment sessions. Each of these program components are fortified by rising second year student mentors, who work in the capacity of program assistants. CEOI is seeking enthusiastic course instructors to support various aspects of the summer bridge program. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Please note: this is a limited term summer position for graduate students. Hours for the position vary based upon the needs of the program, including some weekend and evening hours. The number of hours per week will depend on the successful candidate's availability and up to 20 hours per week. Qualifications:
