You Are:

You are an experienced procurement professional with a deep understanding of the complexities involved in sourcing capital equipment for high-tech environments. You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative settings and are motivated by playing an integral role in supporting groundbreaking technology development. Your background in hardware procurement is complemented by a robust knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP, and a clear grasp of ISO and SOX compliance requirements. You bring a solution-oriented mindset, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for optimizing processes to improve efficiency across the supply chain.

You are known for your meticulous attention to detail and your ability to anticipate potential issues before they become blockers. Your communication style is clear, diplomatic, and adaptable, allowing you to build strong relationships with vendors, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders at all levels. You are comfortable presenting data and insights to management, collecting and reporting key metrics, and taking initiative to enhance existing procurement policies and systems. What You'll Be Doing:

• Coordinating with management to strategically plan and purchase materials, ensuring seamless support for both ongoing production and new product development initiatives.
• Utilizing material requirements planning (MRP) systems within SAP to execute and manage purchase orders efficiently.
• Monitoring and proactively resolving production material shortages to keep critical projects on track.
• Building and maintaining strong partnerships with vendors by requesting quotes, placing orders, managing acknowledgements, and expediting shipments as required.
• Collaborating with R&D, NPI, Commodity Management, Inventory, and Accounts Payable teams to ensure alignment and resolve discrepancies related to goods received and invoicing.
• Regularly updating planning and procurement reports, collecting and presenting key metrics to peers and management.
• Actively participating in the continuous improvement of procurement policies, procedures, and systems.
• Delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external partners, demonstrating tact, judgment, and diplomacy.

What You'll Need:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP, particularly in procurement and MRP modules.
• Over 10 years of experience in hardware procurement, ideally within high-tech or semiconductor industries.
• Thorough understanding of ISO and SOX compliance requirements as they pertain to procurement and supply chain operations.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Office Suite, and ERP reporting tools.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, adapt quickly, and offer creative input on process enhancements.

• Strong background in making presentations, collecting metrics and reporting data to peers and management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

You'll join a dynamic Operations team dedicated to supporting the procurement and supply chain needs for Synopsys' industry-leading hardware solutions. The team partners closely with R&D, New Product Introduction (NPI), Commodity Management, Inventory, and Accounts Payable to ensure the seamless delivery of capital equipment to global customers. With a focus on operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement, you'll collaborate with dedicated professionals who are passionate about enabling the next generation of semiconductor technology.
