Office Support Assistant 2


Department of Health and Human Services


Hourly Pay Range: $14.87 - $22.28



Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Office Support Assistant 2 provides office support to the Aging and Disability Resource Center to ensure efficient office operation of the department. This position is responsible for front desk coverage, maintaining copier and equipment areas, fax distribution, and other duties as assigned.



Job Duties:



  • Distribute all incoming faxes and mail. Conduct clerical duties.
  • Clean, organize, and stock printer areas. Troubleshoot equipment issues and contact printer service provider as needed.
  • Provide front desk coverage to include breaks, vacations days, sick time, and time away for meetings. Process WisGO transactions as needed.
  • Provide support monitoring equipment availability, usage requests, as well as setup and take down of equipment.
  • Attend assigned board and commission meetings to provide clerical support, including catering orders, the creation of agendas, and minutes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Minimum Requirements:



  • Current resident of the state of Wisconsin
  • Possession of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least one (1) year of experience working in an office is required.
  • Basic knowledge of all related computer and software applications, such as word processing and spreadsheets is required.



Additional Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of office practices, principles, methods, and procedures; knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation; knowledge of the use of a personal computer; written and oral communication skills; organizational skills; proficiency in word processing and data entry; ability to follow oral and written instructions; ability to maintain records, files, and store items systematically; ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25lbs as needed.
