Role Overview:

As the Product Manager for Salesforce Service Cloud, you'll play a critical role in shaping how we use the platform to support our customer operations. You'll manage and prioritize requests across teams, collaborate closely with engineering, and represent Salesforce initiatives to stakeholders. You should be a strategic thinker who can identify what we should do-not just what's been asked for-and guide teams toward high-impact outcomes. This role demands someone with deep Salesforce knowledge, a strong technical foundation, and the presence to align diverse teams around shared solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Request Management: Prioritize and manage incoming requests from business units and stakeholders, balancing strategic objectives with operational needs.
  • Salesforce Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on Salesforce Service Cloud capabilities, configuration, implementation lifecycle, and best practices. Advocate for innovative uses of Salesforce to drive business outcomes.
  • Technical Aptitude: Translate business requirements into technical solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and accurately convey technical architectures, integrations, and dependencies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demo & Representation: Be capable of demoing and presenting delivered solutions from engineering to stakeholders. Confidently represent the product and explain how the proposed or built features meet the business needs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrate credibility and articulate a clear vision for Salesforce usage and improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to optimize Salesforce usage, beyond immediate requests, by suggesting and driving enhancements that align with industry best practices.
  • Industry Insight: Leverage experience from various companies to bring insights into Salesforce usage, particularly in customer support environments, to optimize our instance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on Salesforce Service Cloud or CRM platforms.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and driving successful Salesforce implementations.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Experience in customer support operations within Salesforce is highly desirable.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Business Analyst, Service Cloud Consultant) are a plus.
