Job Overview

UC Testing Services is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accommodated Testing Coordinator to oversee and manage all aspects of accommodated testing services for students registered with Accessibility Resources and other eligible participants. This role is responsible for coordinating accommodated exam scheduling and administration, ensuring compliance with accessibility requirements and university policies, and delivering exceptional service to students, faculty, and staff. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to supporting all students.

Essential Functions

Coordinate Testing Services:


In collaboration with the Testing Services team, this position will oversee the scheduling, preparation, and administration of make-up and accommodated exams, including extended time, reduced-distraction spaces, assistive technology, and other approved accommodations.



Administrative Operations:


Perform complex clerical and technical tasks to support accommodated testing, including maintaining confidential records, managing exam materials, and ensuring compliance with FERPA and ADA requirements.



Student and Faculty Engagement:


Serve as the primary contact for students with accommodations and their instructors, providing guidance, information, and assistance related to testing processes and procedures.



Communication:


Facilitate timely and clear communication with students, faculty, Accessibility Resources staff, and other stakeholders regarding exam scheduling, policies, and updates.



Collaboration:


Partner with the Program Director, Accessibility Resources, and testing center staff to develop, implement, and refine procedures that support accommodated testing operations. May oversee Student Worker team members.



Problem Solving and Issue Resolution:


Respond promptly to issues or irregularities during test administration, ensuring a fair and supportive testing environment.


Reporting and Documentation:


Maintain accurate records of accommodated testing activity and prepare reports as needed to track usage, trends, and compliance.



Office Support:


Provide administrative oversight and support during designated hours, which may include evenings and weekends to meet student needs

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

One (1) year of program coordination experience.

* Experience supporting individuals with disabilities


* Occasional weeknight and weekend availability


* Comfortability working independently


* Comfort with learning and troubleshooting assistive technology and test delivery systems.
