About Salesforce

We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too - driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good - you've come to the right place.

We're hiring a strategic operator to help run and scale the Messaging & Cross-Cloud Marketing team. This team defines Salesforce's company narrative and ensures it shows up clearly and consistently across the market.

The team's scope includes developing company-level messaging and storylines, helping teams across the business align to that narrative, and leading shared marketing functions like content strategy, social, content operations, portfolio marketing, and campaign planning. We also lead major launches, keynotes, and company moments that bring our message to life at scale.

This role brings structure, clarity, and alignment to fast-moving work. It helps the team operate at its best and frees up leaders to focus on strategy, storytelling, and customer impact.

About the Role

You'll work closely with the SVP of Messaging & Cross-Cloud Marketing to shape team priorities, manage operations, and lead key programs. You'll help translate big ideas into execution by connecting people, projects, and priorities while keeping things moving without adding friction. You'll also support a high-performing, connected team culture that thrives on clarity and impact. This role leads the operational engine behind our most visible programs, ensuring our storytelling lands with greater quality, scale, and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to the SVP, anticipating needs, shaping priorities, and serving as a force multiplier across the organization

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that need structure, coordination, and follow-through, especially where executive decisions or visibility are involved

  • Support quarterly and annual planning cycles, ensuring execution aligns to broader marketing and company goals

  • Own team operating model, including planning, meeting cadences, communications, and workflows

  • Create systems and processes that reduce overhead and help teams focus on the highest-impact work

  • Support alignment across product, campaign, event, and enablement efforts so messaging stays consistent and connected

  • Help onboard new team members and foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  • Establish lightweight metrics and feedback loops to assess team effectiveness, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Experience running programs or operations in a marketing, communications, or product environment, ideally at scale

  • Strong organizational skills and a passion for bringing order to complexity

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, especially with executives and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Familiarity with storytelling, messaging, or creative workflows

  • Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting

  • A collaborative mindset, a strong sense of accountability, and a strong sense of ownership and pride in doing great work
