The Paralegal is responsible for providing legal and procedural support for the DaVita Venture Group team. The legal and procedural support includes drafting, proofreading and redlining legal documents related to M&A, partnership and venture transactions; performing legal research; evaluating, organizing, analyzing and communicating legal facts and concepts; and tracking and analyzing budget and pipeline information. The DVG Paralegal may also be asked to support other team members on special projects, as needed. The ideal candidate will possess excellent research and writing skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail.

Job Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree required.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) preferred.
  • Paralegal Certificate from ABA accredited program preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' paralegal experience required.
  • Experience working in or with health care companies is a plus.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities.
  • Can work independently and is a self-starter.
  • Experience with document management system and Salesforce preferred.
