Title:Inventory Control Coordinator
Location:Independence, MO

Salary:$22.00-$23.00 Per Hour
Schedule:5 8-hour Days: Days, Evenings, and weekend shift available.

Focus:The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy on the manufacturing floor and supporting warehouse and customer service teams with inventory and system-related issues.

Inventory Control Coordinator Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation using the warehouse management system.

  • Address and resolve inventory-related inquiries from internal teams and provide timely responses to customer service requests.

  • Maintain product locator systems and validate inventory locations, including racking up to 50 feet high.

  • Inspect inventory regularly for damage, shrinkage, or misplacement and ensure proper product rotation.

  • Support outbound and inbound processes by verifying shipment accuracy and adherence to quality requirements.

Inventory Control Coordinator Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.

  • Must be forklift certified or able to complete forklift certification.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed; Must be willing and able to climb ladders, work at heights

  • Previous logistics/warehouse experience at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant preferred.

Location-Specific Requirements:

  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.

  • This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. To meet the government-facility requirements, the candidate must be a US citizen.
