Job Summary This position works with other Windows and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) administrators to research, test, develop, troubleshoot and deploy applications and packages to Windows endpoints. Software packaging is the primary focus of this position. This position provides support with the automation of various system tasks and will require an understanding of Windows PowerShell scripting. This position will create technical documentation and provide Tier III support to other college entities. Essential Functions 30% - Analyze, troubleshoot, maintain, and oversee Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) software applications and packages for campus wide deployment 20% - Design, develop, implement, test Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) software applications and packages for campus wide deployment 20% - Research and design solutions to automate various Windows system tasks that will be delivered via Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) or other Windows based delivery methods 15% - Identify and analyze current and potential issues with Windows systems and recommend and implement solutions, Provide Tier III level support for other Information Technology groups and customers 10% - Document processes and procedures 5% - Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in information technology or related field and two years of systems and application administration experience in area related to assignment. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree, education, certification and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. Two (2) or more years creating and testing applications within a Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) production environment, clearly outlined in cover letter and/or resume B. Two (2) or more years working with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) to manage assets, deploy software, and monitor endpoints, clearly outlined in cover letter and/or resume C. Two (2) or more years discovering, analyzing, and implementing automated solutions with Windows PowerShell for Windows endpoints, clearly outlined in cover letter and/or resume D. Two (2) or more years' experience working with a Microsoft Deployment Toolkit Deployment Workbench Database to manage computer objects, applications, and roles. E. Two (2) or more years developing and implementing Windows PowerShell scripts Special Working Conditions
