Position Summary
The Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development ( FALD) exists to support the development of our faculty members and to provide resources to assure their academic success. As an institution, we strive to promote a respectful environment where our colleagues can excel in the interrelated areas of patient care, education, and research. We are seeking a mission-driven individual with exceptional program management skills to join the Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development ( FALD) as Faculty Affairs Operations Coordinator. This position will support the implementation and education of faculty affairs policies and procedures across a broad range of activities ranging from appointment, promotion, and tenure processes to five-year chair reviews. The Coordinator will contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of these processes, assist in evaluating their impact, and support continuous improvement efforts. The Faculty Affairs Operations Coordinator will exemplify the mission and values of FALD and help cultivate a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional proficiency or a strong willingness and ability to quickly learn in using Microsoft Excel, Teams, and shared document platforms such as SharePoint or OneDrive. They should be comfortable preparing data-informed reports, managing collaborative workflows, and maintaining organized documentation across multiple faculty affairs processes.

Exceptional organizational ability and project management skills
Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and OneDrive
Ability to develop clear, concise reports with visual data to support decision-making and process evaluation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage competing priorities
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build strong professional relationships with different stakeholders
Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze and resolve unusual and novel situations based on knowledge of organizational activities and policies
Entrepreneurial spirit and flexibility in the face of evolving scope of work and new challenges
Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Sense of humor, patience, and high emotional intelligence
